Sheila Sullivan

Sheila Sullivan and Peter Kriekard were married June 4th, 2010 in Estes Park, Colorado at the beautiful Della Terra Mountain Chateau.

Maya helped Sheila find the perfect dress, Priscilla of Boston style 4210. Sheila was such a pleasure to work with and she looks absolutely stunning in her gown!
Style 4210 is a silk radzimir strapless gown with a pleated, modified ballgown skirt and draped bodice accented with elaborate crystal encrusted applique. So gorgeous!!!

Stefanie Guesnier

Stefanie and Mathis Santella married on July 10, 2010.
Their wedding ceremony took place at Mountain Presbyterian Church in Parkhill and their reception was at the chic JW Marriot in Cherry Creek.

Margo helped Stefanie find Jewel style JL106. She also purchased her bridesmaids dresses, shoes and jewelry from Priscilla's! Margo even helped Stefanie's sister and two friends,
Nicole Martinelli and Stephanie Fuqua with their bridal gowns as well!

JL106 is a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline. The natural waist has an embellished belt which is intricately embroidered in metallic and ivory thread and hand encrusted with rhinestones, crystals and pearls. This dress is for the bride who wants to be dynamic with a little bit of everything!

Michelle Jones

Michelle and Charlie married on July 3, 2010 at The Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Traverse City, Michigan.

Maya helped Michelle find her perfect gown, Jane. She and her bridesmaids were a joy to work with. The bridesmaids selected Vineyard style 1415. The deep sapphire color really complimented their gorgeous wedding!

 

The ceremony was on the beach and the reception was overlooking the beautiful golf course in an outdoor tent!

Heather Brady

Heather and Glenn tied the knot at Runaway Bay, St. Ann Parish, Jamaica. 

Maya truly enjoyed working with Heather. She was a blast and even invited Maya to her wedding!


They stayed at Breezes (an all inclusive resort) and they took care of everything for them. That gave the bride and groom less to worry and stress about!

Katie Lubinski

Melissa's bride Katie Lubinski was married this past summer on June 12, 2010 here in Denver. 

Katie met her husband Dirk through Katie's cousin while at college, and after a night of go cart racing and putt putt golf, they knew another date was inevitable.  He proposed to Katie while at a pumpkin patch on Halloween by hiding the ring on the vine of a pumpkin he picked!  It was definitely not your typical proposal and one that she will never forget. 

The ceremony was held at Spirit of Christ Catholic Community and the reception following at the Denver Country Club in Denver, Colorado. 

Katie found her ideal dress, "Saffron" by Melissa Sweet, as well as her shoes, jewelry, and veil from Priscilla's.  This dress is a favorite of many of us at Priscilla's and Katie embodied its ultra feminine and softly fitted silk organza silhouette perfectly! 

Katie's big day was captured by Joseph Keum of Studio JK photography.  This amazing photographer also did the photographs for another one of Melissa's brides, Mindy Evangelisti.

Brita Mess

Melissa loved working with Brita. She was super sweet and after trying on quite a few different styles, she decided on Vineyard's Cricket. She added a lace trimmed Priscilla of Boston veil to give it a special touch and a hint of romance :-)

Becca Felber

Becca was one of Melissa's favorite brides. Melissa just remembers how much fun she was to be around. Becca purchased two gowns with us; Luella and 4110. Once Melissa placed the veil with her Priscilla of Boston style 4110, Becca instantly new it was the one.

Becca and Rob Reichenberger were married August 29, 2009 at Central Presbyterian Church in Denver and reception at the sleek and chic Second Home at JW Marriott Cherry Creek.

Priscilla of Boston style 4110 is satin-faced organza gown with crystal encrusted lace framing the neckline and accenting the waist. Just gorgeous!!!

Rob and Becca met at The Denver Botanic Gardens and were together ever since! They honeymooned in Italy for 2 weeks! Florence and then the Amalfi Coast. They fell in LOVE with Positano!

Katie Mackenzie

Katie was married on August 8, 2009 at Top Dercum Mountain and had their reception at Alpenglow Stube in Keystone, Colorado.
Katie purchased Layla with the help of Melissa. Layla is one of Melissa's all time favorites. Katie was SUCH a pleasure to work with!

Melissa Sweet's Layla is double faced Satin fit-to-flair gown with silver embroidery and Swarovski crystals. This gown really is beautiful beyond words!
Katie remembers walking in and thinking she wanted a simple, vintage looking lace dress with straps and no sparkles! Her mom grabbed Layla off the rack and told her to try it on. It was the first dress she tried and everything else just couldn't compare!
James Christianson took these great photographs and Heather Dwight with Calluna Events was her wedding planner.

Their colors were blue and green to represent the mountains and the ocean (where they are each from)!

Ellie Coakley

Maya truly loved working with Ellie and her whole family. Diane, Ellie's mother, actually spotted Melissa Sweet's Tilda on the rack and had Ellie try it on. Once Ellie came out of the dressing room she knew immediately along with everyone else that this was THE dress.

Tilda is strapless French vintage lace gown. The beautiful lace is delicately hand beaded with tiny Swarovski crystals. This fit and flair silhouette is accented with tiered layers of lace godets. This dress is truly something special!!

Ellie and Seth Hieronymus were married on June 12, 2010 at the gorgeous Wind Mark Beach Resort in Port St. Joe, Florida. Elizabeth Wynn of Panache Tents and Events in Port St. Joe made Ellie's dream wedding a reality. Elizabeth also provided the bridesmaid flowers and groom's boutonniere.

Ellie's classic up do was actually done by her mother, Diane! And her flawless make-up was done by her bridesmaid, Sapna Patel. Even Ellie's bouquet and ceremony flowers were right out of her mother's garden. Details like these really make the wedding even more special and unique.

Kris Kimel Photography did an amazing job of capturing Ellie's relaxed resort wedding!

Cake was made by Lulu's Cake.

Lyndi Smith

Lyndi was a very special bride to Margo. Margo even attended her ceremony and reception! Lyndi and her husband, Danny Abote, were married at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and celebrated at the classic Brown Palace Grand Ballroom.

What a fabulous picture!

Lyndi wore the AMAZING Platinum style PL214. It is a strapless Silk Satin full ball gown with hand trimmed appliques on bodice and full skirt. Silk thread embroidery is done by hand and embellished with French knots, embroidered eyelet, crystal beads, silver threads and miniature pearls. This dress is fit for a queen!!! All of her accessories including her amazing veil are from Priscilla of Boston!

Lyndi chose hot pink and tangerine orange for her colors. So fun and fresh!

Kelly Monroe

Maya fell even more in love with PL210 after seeing it on Kelly. She was such a joy to work with and looked STUNNING on her big day.

Kelly Monroe and Gabe Bilawa were married September 22, 2009 in Haiku, Maui. They married in an old sugar mill called Haiku Mill! How cool is that!?

 
Platinum style PL210 is a Silk and Cotton Faille fitted gown with hand pleated taffeta fan detail at back bodice. It's finished with metallic hand trimmed and embroidered crystal belt. Classic and modern!

Haiku Mill's wedding coordinator, Allie McMillan, did an amazing job planning their special day. Amity Mason Photography is the one responsible for taking all of these gorgeous photos! 

Celebrations Catering made their fabulous food, and Maui Cocktail Catering provided great cocktails!

Nicole Martinelli

Nicole is SUCH a special bride to Margo. Nicole and Margo are actually friends and when they ran into each other at a party, Margo asked her what she was looking for in a bridal gown. Margo instantly knew Melissa Sweet's Mila would be her dress. Nicole came in and tried it on and the rest is history!


Nicole and Shaun were married May 29, 2010 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and celebrated at Pinehurst Country Club in Denver.

Mila is a strapless ruched Taffeta gown with asymmetric floral corsage. It is both sexy and classic!

Shaun is a Denver firefighter and we thought the picture in front of his truck was so great!

AUGUST 22, 2009

Happy one year anniversary Ami and Nathan Larosn! We can’t believe that it was already a year ago that these two tied the knot in Rapid City, SD.

Ami’s gown was silk satin with hand appliqued aloncon lace and hand beaded Swarovski crystals.

The bridal portraits were taken at Ami’s father’s ranch, Zimmer Ridge, in Hill City, SD.  All photographs were taken by Ryan Becker Photography - gorgeous!

Bella Patina put together the beautiful décor and flowers for the lovely couple.

The Calvary Lutheran Church held their ceremony and the reception took place at the Chop House on Canyon Lake.

Ami, you look amazing and we are so happy we could be a part of your big day.  Thank you for being such a wonderful bride!

MORGAN RALPH

We are so excited to feature Morgan as our very first Priscilla Bride on our blog! Morgan and Stefan Bast were married on the very site they first met, a dude ranch in Saddlestring, WY. She was from Colorado and he was from Luxembourg, so it only made sense to have the big day where they met!  Above is the first photo of the newlyweds getting sprinkled with confetti as they exit the ceremony.

Morgan’s Priscilla of Boston gown was carefully constructed of beautiful white eyelet, hand sewn and altered to perfection. Her bridal party all wore Priscilla of Boston dresses, each in a different style but all in canary yellow cotton – perfect for the setting!

Thanks to Morgan’s fabulous photographer Cheryl Unger, we get an amazing perspective on a beautiful wedding!

Morgan’s mom helps her put on her cowboy boots, with the help of two of her bridesmaids.

Why the boots? Because A) Her husband is 6'5" so she needed some lift and B) Morgan likes being comfortable. They were perfect for tromping around the horse field and looked GREAT with her dress!

Immediately after "the kiss," 200 of the horses at the ranch were signaled to run behind them as the dinner bell rang - it made for quite a beginning of their marriage.

 

Everyone they know and love finally got to know, and love, the ranch, where they met which is exactly what Morgan and Stefan wanted. 3 days of bliss with her new husband in her most favorite place in the world.

Thank you both for sharing such a beautiful day with all of us too, we are so happy that we could be a part of it!
