The Priscilla Prom Dress Project
Priscilla of Boston in Denver is proud to announce our participation in an organization that we hold close to our hearts. A local nonprofit, Dressed to the Nines, gives girls the opportunity to own a beautiful prom dress - who may not have had the chance otherwise.
How is Priscilla of Boston helping? We are offering our discontinued special occasion dresses at a significantly discounted price for those who want to purchase a gown as a donation to Dressed to the Nines. Contact our salon at denver@priscillaofboston.com and put Dressed to the Nines in the subject line for more details - or - call us @ 303-355-9491!
If we can raise $1500 we can donate over 60 dresses and 80 shoes to this special cause! Donations can be made in any amount but we are asking for at least $11.50 to purchase one gown or one pair of shoes but welcome $25, $50, $100, and so on.
We kicked off our drive with an anonymous donation of $100 and have already received donations for 8 gowns and 8 pairs of shoes!
Our goal is to reach $1500 by November 1st and would love your help!

Sara Walsh Coy is pictured in our gorgeous Platinum style PL214 and her bridesmaids wore Melissa Sweet's MS117 in graphite. Bobby and Sarah were married at the the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Denver.

PL214 is a silk satin full ball gown with hand trimmed appliques on bodice and full skirt. The beading has crewel work detailing; a technique at least a thousand years old! The silk thread embroidery is done by hand and embellished with French knots, embroidered eyelet, and handcut faggoting combined with crystal beads, silver
threads and miniature pearls. Talk about a work of art!!

MS117 is a satin fit & flare gown with draped
bodice and asymmetrical sash at the skirt.
This dress would be perfect for any black tie event!
Our second bride featured is Tara Meekma Frizzi. She chose Melissa Sweet's short and sassy, Petunia. Tara and Andrea were married at The Brown Palace, Denver.

Dora is a Silk Organza, fit to flare gown with charming swiss dots. It has a sweet heart neckline with ruffle detailing and a ruched sash at its natural waistline. Classic, romantic, feminine and definitely fun! This dress has it all!

Our Melissa Sweet Wallis gown is featured in this great fashion spread showing off current hot bridal trends; Wallis for its couture rosettes.
Wallis is a silk crinkle chiffon fit to flare gown with rose appliques all over. The roses are created in various sizes using Silk Shantung and Silk Chiffon. Each rose is individually hand rolled and applied to give this gown its unique character. At the natural waist is a Silk Organza waist sash adding an extra feminine touch. GORGEOUS!
